MEET IN THE COMMUNITY

Well before we opened our doors we have always held a deep belief that we can play a significant role in creating change. While staying mission driven and mission focused, we believe being involved in our community is an essential part of our responsibility. We don’t talk much about it, but often people ask…

Our Main Work

We have served over TWO MILLION plant based meals since we opened our doors. Not only are we grateful to have saved the unnecessary slaughter of hundreds of thousands of animals with the food we make, but plant-based eating reduces carbon footprint and water consumption.

Our foundation is compassion. This plays out in the food we serve, the teams we create and the guests we are so grateful to have alongside us.

Partnerships and Community Support:

  • Growing Chefs, is a non-profit society where kids are engaged in the entire food cycle; digging in the soil, planting seeds, harvesting vegetables, learning basic cooking skills. They connect with food, and often serve themselves up second helpings of vegetables they used to refuse to eat! Linda, one of MeeT’s founders, has volunteered with growing chefs to teach children the importance of growing their own food.

  • The Happy Herd is a farm animal sanctuary for animals either abused or at risk. They provide forever homes to their diverse animal family in Aldergrove, BC. Our staff have volunteered at The Happy Herd a number of times and in addition we have been involved in various fundraising initiatives on their behalf
